Mantle Migration Checklist: What to Move First
A Mantle migration is part content migration, part data migration, and part operational risk management. Use this checklist to protect customer-facing flows while you rebuild the stack.
Best for
Operators who need a practical migration sequence and QA plan.
Inventory
Document every active dependency.
List all flows, segments, reports, imports, exports, alerts, API calls, integrations, and manual team routines connected to Mantle.
Ownership
Assign one owner per workflow.
Every flow and dashboard needs an accountable owner who can decide whether it should be rebuilt, retired, or merged.
Data model
Define user, account, subscription, and event fields.
Migration speed improves when every tool agrees on the core identifiers and lifecycle fields.
Email replacement
Move revenue and lifecycle flows into Sequenzy first.
Prioritize onboarding, trial conversion, failed payment, renewal, inactivity, upgrade, and win-back sequences.
Analytics replacement
Choose the reporting source of truth.
Use ChartMogul, Baremetrics, ProfitWell, warehouse BI, or another analytics layer for subscription reporting.
Transactional email
Keep system email stable.
Password resets, receipts, security notices, and product notifications should be tested separately from marketing flows.
QA
Replay events and inspect recipients.
Before launch, run sandbox events through every replacement flow and verify recipients, timing, suppression, and exit conditions.
Migration Notes
- • Freeze non-essential flow edits during the final migration week.
- • Run old and new reporting in parallel long enough to understand metric differences.
- • Add monitoring for unsubscribes, bounces, failed sends, payment recovery, and trial conversion after cutover.
